About
Hi, I'm Ayesha.
I have been creating for as long as I can remember. I would make fairy houses out of frisbees, paper dioramas, Model Magic sculptures; that instinct never went away, it just grew. These days I make jewelry, embroider clothing, carve linocut stamps, knit, felt, sew, and anything crafty I can get my hands on.
I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Creative Technology & Design at CU Boulder, where I get to bring my love of making into the world of education, fabrication, and community building. Creating feels like me, it feels like home, and it feels like a radical act of self love and community care in a world that wants to close us off from each other.
I believe that creating is one of the most powerful tools we have for building community, and so my mission is to make making accessible. My work sits at the intersection of education, fabrication, and community care, and I am dedicated to designing experiences that help people of all ages discover what they are capable of making.
When I'm not frantically crafting, I'm probably hanging out with one of my reptiles, pressing stamps onto every flat surface I can find, or adding another project to a to-do list that will never fully be finished.
