Ayesha Rawal

Hi, I'm Ayesha.

I have been creating for as long as I can remember. I would make fairy houses out of frisbees, paper dioramas, Model Magic sculptures; that instinct never went away, it just grew. Creating feels like me, it feels like home, and it feels like a radical act of self love and community care in a world that wants to close us off from each other. 

My mission is to make making accessible. I believe that creating is one of the most powerful tools we have for building community. My work sits at the intersection of education, fabrication, and public engagement, and I am dedicated to designing experiences that help people of all ages discover what they are capable of making.
